Graphic Art project : Reach for the stars!

Long time no news!

Here we go again with  our latest work on Graphic Art,"Reach for the stars". 
This project consists in drawing students' arms and hands and designing them by  making different kinds of   patterns.
The result is a cooperative mural with other groups who work on the same project. The mural gathers the arms reaching for the stars which symbolize all our wishes and goals for the new year. 

Students worked hard and concentration was a success!

5TH GRADE ART CLASS: NIGHT TIME PUMPKINS!!!

NIGHT- TIME PUMPKINS!

The class of 5th grade have already finished our Night-Time pumpkins art sessions. We are very proud of them!

First we learned how to draw a pumpkin on white paper. We used paint and brushes to paint the pumpkins. Then we cut them and stuck them on black card paper. Then, we took oil pastels to decorate the background by adding the stem, leaves,etc. After that, we drew a moon with white chalk pastel. To create the moon highlights to the pumpkin, we added small crescend lines along one side of the pumpkin. Finally, we wrote the title with a touch of gold.

 And that's it!!

VIURE L'ART AMB L'ANTONI CUMELLA

Els alumnes de 5è han imitat l'Antoni Cumella, un escultor de Granollers, fent una obra amb fang i pintant-la.  Si voleu veure alguna foto més, cliqueu a sobre de la que veieu.

Viure l'art. Picasso

El passat 17 d'abril els alumnes de 6è han fet el dia de "Viure l'art". 
Han treballat en Picasso fent un retrat de dona en una rajola de fang. 
Prèviament han hagut de fer en paper l'esbós del rostre i treballar el fang per obtenir la forma del rectangle. 
En acabar han pintat el retrat en fang fent barreja de colors.
